This project was created to ensure every pregnant woman feels seen, supported, and understood — and receives clear, evidence-based guidance on what postpartum recovery really involves.
It’s our response to the widespread gap in care and information for women in Ukraine after giving birth. Too often, mothers are left alone to deal with the physical and emotional impact of pregnancy and childbirth. They don’t know where to turn for reliable answers, what steps to take, or how to stay afloat amid the daily pressures of new motherhood.

The course is divided into three core modules:

II. Motherhood & Self-Realization. How to discover your calling, become the leader of your own life, and manage your time effectively. We cover community involvement, freelance work, writing resumes, and preparing for interviews.
III. Motherhood & Your Own Business. How to become an entrepreneur, test ideas, build a business plan, and find funding to bring it to life.
In response to the full-scale war in Ukraine, the course was expanded to address urgent new challenges. Two additional modules were added:
- Motherhood During War. Supporting the mental health of both mother and child, restoring a sense of safety, and processing fear and PTSD.
- Working During War. Managing finances and the family budget, where to look for jobs, and how to prepare for interviews in a crisis context.
Honest Stories of Motherhood, Told by Mothers
A thoughtfully curated series of real stories from women reflecting on the choices they've made in motherhood.
Ladnyi Podcast was created to offer support and inspiration to women navigating the complex, emotional, and deeply personal world of parenting. At NGO “Mothers’ Generation Lada,” we honor every mother’s journey — and every decision along the way.
In each episode, you’ll hear from Ukrainian moms who open up about their lived experiences: the doubts, the triumphs, the turning points, and the tender moments. Because no one understands the rollercoaster of motherhood quite like another mother who’s lived it too.
Season One was released as part of the nationwide “Lactation Mission” project, supported by the international humanitarian organization Save the Children Ukraine.

A Bold Campaign to Normalize Breastfeeding in Public
Breastfeed Anywhere is a nationwide initiative supporting breastfeeding across Ukraine — created to spark conversation, challenge stigma, and empower women to nurse their babies wherever they need to.
The campaign’s mission is clear:
To raise public awareness about the importance of breastfeeding, break down harmful stereotypes, and support mothers in their right to feed their children freely and confidently — anytime, anywhere.
What we did:
- Installed “Breastfeed Anywhere — Even Here” signs in unexpected locations across the country. With 46 partners on board, a total of 65 signs and 7 decals were placed in train stations, ministries, government service centers, cafés, hospitals, museums, theaters, and other public spaces.
- Held educational sessions titled “Support for Moms and Moms-to-Be: Breastfeeding Basics and the First Months After Birth” — reaching over 300 women across 8 regions.
- Launched a #BreastfeedAnywhere flash mob on social media, with 100 moms joining in and a total online reach of 271,000 people.
Altogether, the campaign reached more than 1.5 million people — sending a strong message: breastfeeding is natural, necessary, and welcome everywhere.
